Political leaders unite to defeat DMK
Two leaders, Palaniswami and Dhinakaran, who used to be rivals, have decided to work together to defeat the DMK party in the upcoming elections.
They made this announcement at a big rally where the Prime Minister of India was also speaking.
They said they will campaign together and make Tamil Nadu a better place.
Before this, Dhinakaran was very critical of Palaniswami, but now they have decided to put their differences aside and work as a team.
Meanwhile, another leader named Premalatha from the DMDK party said her party is in no hurry to announce an alliance.
She said they will decide at the right time and blamed the media for being too eager to know about the alliance.

The leaders emphasized their common goal of removing DMK from power and forming a new NDA government in Tamil Nadu.
They made the announcement at an NDA rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Maduranthakam, Tamil Nadu.
Dhinakaran, who had previously criticized Palaniswami, rejoined the NDA after a meeting with BJP leader Piyush Goyal.
Both leaders stressed their shared history under former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and their commitment to continue her work.
DMDK general secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth said her party is in no hurry to announce an alliance, dismissing media speculation about delays.
Premalatha stated that the DMDK would decide on alliances at the appropriate time, as election dates and candidate lists have not yet been announced.
