Tesla and VinFast Register Vehicles in Indian Market
Tesla and VinFast, both electric vehicle companies, have begun registering their vehicles in India.
In September, 60 Tesla cars and 6 VinFast cars were registered.
Tesla launched its Model Y, with a starting price of around ₹60 lakh.
VinFast, a Vietnamese company, also launched its premium SUVs, VF 6 and VF 7, and opened its first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
These new registrations increase competition in the electric vehicle market.
