Toyota Reports November Sales Decline
Toyota, a big car company, sold and made fewer cars in November compared to last year.
This happened mostly because China stopped giving money to people who buy electric and fuel-efficient cars.
Toyota sold 12% fewer cars in China, and made 14% fewer there.
But in Thailand and the US, they made more cars.
The company is also dealing with other problems, like new rules in Europe and possible new taxes in the US.
Toyota is trying to work with these changes to keep selling cars around the world.
Toyota's global sales and production fell in November 2025, down 1.9% and 3.4% respectively.
Sales in China dropped 12% due to the end of subsidies for electric and fuel-efficient cars.
Production in Thailand and the US increased by 15% and 9% respectively, while it decreased in China, Japan, and the UK.
The European Union's decision to revise its ban on combustion engines could impact Toyota's strategy for electric vehicles.
Toyota is navigating potential tariffs and safety standards issues in the US, including plans to ship American-made models back to Japan.
