India Women Face Japan in Asian Games 2026 Cricket

The Asian Games 2026 will feature cricket tournaments for both men and women.

The Indian women's team will play Japan in the quarter-finals.

If they win, they could face either Bangladesh or China in the semi-finals.

The men's team will also start in the quarter-finals, but their opponent isn't decided yet.

Other teams like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Thailand will also compete.

The games will be played in a short format called T20 and will be very important because they count as official international matches.

India has strong teams with experienced leaders like Harmanpreet Kaur for the women and Shreyas Iyer for the men.

This event is special because cricket will return to the Olympics after a long time, starting in 2028.
