Longitude 77 Single Malt Launches in Hyderabad
Longitude 77 is a special kind of whisky made in India.
It won some big awards and is liked by experts.
The company that makes it, Pernod Ricard India, had a big party to introduce it in Hyderabad.
They make the whisky using special barrels and it's aged in a place called Nashik.
It's already sold in many places in India and Dubai.
The name comes from a line on the map that goes through India.
They wanted to show that they make really good whisky right here in India.
Longitude 77 single malt whisky launched in Hyderabad on January 19, 2025, at Taj Falaknuma Palace.
The brand has won multiple international awards, including Gold at the London Spirits Competition.
Whisky expert Jim Murray praised the product, comparing it favorably to premium Scotch single malts.
Longitude 77 is produced using locally sourced ingredients and undergoes double maturation in American Bourbon barrels and wine casks, aged in Nashik.
The brand is available in several Indian states and Dubai, with the Hyderabad launch part of its expansion strategy.
