Punjab BJP attacks AAP over rising debt and mismanagement

Punjab BJP leader Kewal Singh Dhillon criticized the AAP government’s handling of the state’s money.

He said Punjab owed about Rs 2.82 lakh crore before the AAP government came to power.

He said the debt has now grown to about Rs 4.5 lakh crore.

Dhillon argued that borrowing more money has not led to enough new development.

He pointed to possible new loans for Powercom and GMADA.

He also said the government is paying fees to arrange these loans.

According to him, people are not seeing enough progress in jobs, industry, healthcare or education.

He questioned why employee and pensioner demands are delayed while institutions continue borrowing.

He further alleged that public money is being spent on advertisements and political publicity.
