Waaree Energies Q1 Profit Rises 14% to ₹850 Crore
Waaree Energies, a company that makes solar panels and builds solar power plants, just announced its earnings for the first three months of 2026.
They made a lot more money than last year, with a profit of ₹850 crore, which is 14% more.
This growth came from selling more solar panels and building more solar power plants.
They also got some money back from the US government because of a court ruling that said some taxes they were paying were not fair.
However, the company is also dealing with some investigations by US and Indian authorities.
Waaree Energies reported a 14% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹850 crore for Q1 2026.
Revenue from operations rose 79% year-on-year to ₹7,932 crore, driven by strong growth in solar PV and EPC businesses.
The company recognized ₹349.28 crore as other operating revenue from a US tariff refund.
Solar PV revenue increased by 91%, while EPC contract revenue grew by 55% during the quarter.
Power generation revenue declined by 9% during the quarter.
