Rajasthan CM Sets 100-Day Roadmap for Civic Improvements

Rajasthan CM Sets 100-Day Roadmap for Civic Improvements

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma met with leaders of cities and towns.

He asked them to make a plan for improving public services over the next 100 days.

He wants basic tasks like cleaning streets, fixing roads and improving drains done within a month.

He also asked them to tackle rubbish, waterlogging, stray cattle and other local problems.

Leaders should check the work themselves and make sure it is done well and on time.

Sharma said roads and sewerage should be planned for whole cities, not just one neighbourhood at a time.

He also told local bodies to raise money openly and prevent corruption.

The state is providing eligible urban workers with 125 days of employment and free de-sludging services in 188 urban local bodies.
