Karnataka Housing Board Warns Against Illegal Site Sales
The Karnataka Housing Board has warned people not to buy land in the Suryanagar Phase-4 project using special letters given to landowners.
These letters are just for showing which plots landowners might get, not for selling.
The board says some people are trying to sell or fake these letters, which is illegal.
They told everyone to wait for official allotment letters before buying any land there.
The board also said they won't be responsible if people lose money from these illegal deals.
Karnataka Housing Board warns against purchasing sites based on symbolic plot selection letters in Suryanagar Phase-4.
Total land acquired for the project is 1,498 acres and 39 guntas in Anekal taluk, Bengaluru Urban district.
Development is on a 50:50 sharing basis between the board and landowners, with 50% of developed land given to land losers.
Symbolic plot selection letters do not confer rights to transfer, enter into agreements, or sell the plots.
KHB advises the public to purchase sites only after formal allotment letters are issued and registered.
