'The Revolutionaries' gets September 11 premiere on Prime Video
A new TV show called 'The Revolutionaries' is coming to Prime Video on September 11.
It was created and directed by a filmmaker named Nikkhil Advani.
The show is based on a book by Sanjeev Sanyal about how India won its freedom.
It tells the story of four brave young people who lived in India long ago: Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Lahiri, and Bagha Jatin.
At that time, India was ruled by the British Empire.
These four heroes fought for India's freedom using weapons.
The show follows their courage, sacrifices, friendships, and even betrayals.
It will be shown in Hindi and other Indian languages like Tamil and Bengali.
People in India and more than 240 other countries will be able to watch it.
The makers hope the show helps people learn about heroes who are not very well known.
Prime Video's period drama 'The Revolutionaries' will premiere worldwide on September 11, the streamer announced on Tuesday.
Created and directed by Nikkhil Advani, the series is based on Sanjeev Sanyal's bestseller 'Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom.'
Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada lead the cast as Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Lahiri and Bagha Jatin, young revolutionaries driven to armed resistance against the British Empire.
Produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment, the show also features Jason Shah, Paoli Dam and Tota Roy Chowdhury in key roles.
The series will stream in Hindi with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali across India and more than 240 countries and territories.
