Sagar Defence Inaugurates Pune Plant for USVs

Sagar Defence Engineering, a company in India, opened a new factory in Pune.

This factory will make special boats called Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs) that can operate without people on board.

They are working with a company called Liquid Robotics, which is part of Boeing.

The boats will help keep an eye on the ocean and make sure everything is safe.

The factory will also help India make these advanced boats locally, which is part of a big plan called 'Make in India'.

This plan encourages making things in India instead of buying them from other countries.

The new factory is a big step in making India a leader in ocean technology and working closely with the United States on defence projects.
