Adani Group Commits Over ₹1 Lakh Crore Investment in Andhra Pradesh
A big company called Adani Group is planning to spend a lot of money, over $15 billion, in a state in India called Andhra Pradesh for the next ten years.
This money will be used to build new things like ports, factories for making cement, places to store lots of computer information called data centres, and energy projects.
They are even working with Google to create a very large data centre that will use clean energy.
This is extra money on top of what they have already put into Andhra Pradesh.
The company says their projects have already given jobs to more than 100,000 people and will create even more jobs.
They see Andhra Pradesh as an important place for growing India's future, especially in technology, and they are proud of the good things they have done for families and people in the state.
Adani Group commits to investing over ₹1 lakh crore ($15 billion) in Andhra Pradesh over the next decade.
Investments will focus on sectors including ports, cement, data centres, energy, and advanced manufacturing.
A significant part of the investment includes the Vizag Tech Park vision, featuring a large green-powered hyperscale data-centre ecosystem with Google.
This new commitment is in addition to the ₹40,000 crore already invested by Adani Group in the state.
Adani Group's existing operations in Andhra Pradesh have created over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs, with plans for further employment generation.
