Meta Muse AI Upgrade Adds Avatars, Glasses And Controls
Meta is giving its Muse AI assistant many new abilities.
Muse is a computer program that can help people complete everyday tasks.
Soon, users will be able to talk with a digital avatar version of Muse by video.
Muse will also work through Meta’s smart glasses using voice commands.
It may help create exercise plans, log meals, schedule appointments and buy products.
On Mac computers, Muse will be able to use apps for users.
Muse will also get its own email address so people can send it tasks.
It will connect with shopping and work services such as Shopify, GitHub and Notion.
Meta says the goal is for Muse to work in the background and become a more useful personal assistant.
Meta announced new Muse AI features at its annual Connect event in Menlo Park on Wednesday.
Muse will gain a digital avatar for real-time video conversations and task assignments.
The agent will be integrated into Meta’s AI-powered glasses through voice commands and a wake word.
Muse will expand its computer-use capabilities to operate apps on Mac computers.
New features include email, shopping, PayPal payments, and integrations with services including GitHub, Notion and Expedia.
