Andhra Pradesh Re-notifies 271 Liquor Shops for October 21 Draw
Andhra Pradesh still has 271 liquor shops that have not been given to operators.
The government has invited people to apply for these shops.
There are 267 general-category shops and four reserved-category shops.
Each application costs Rs 3 lakh, and the fee cannot be returned.
People can apply online or in person until midnight on October 19.
The government will choose applicants by drawing lots on October 21.
The draws will happen at district collector offices, and selected applicants will be told that day.
This is part of the state's 2026-27 liquor retail policy.
Andhra Pradesh has re-notified 271 liquor shops that remained unallotted under its 2026-27 retail liquor policy.
The shops include 267 general-category outlets and four reserved-category outlets.

Previously, 3,466 of 3,736 notified liquor shops had been allotted, nearly 93 per cent of the total.
