Andhra Pradesh Launches Driver-cum-Guide Service with Rapido
The Andhra Pradesh government has teamed up with Rapido, a bike taxi service, to start a new program.
In this program, drivers with good ratings will get special training.
They will learn about the state's history, culture, and how to be good guides.
This will help tourists have a better experience when they visit places like Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Visakhapatnam.
The drivers will also be able to help tourists book rides and find their way around.
There will be special help desks at airports, bus stations, and train stations to make things easier for visitors.
This is the first program of its kind in India and aims to make tourism better for everyone involved.
Andhra Pradesh government partners with Rapido to launch driver-cum-guide service for tourists.
Drivers with good ratings will undergo special training in December on state history, culture, and hospitality.
Service will be available in Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Visakhapatnam initially.
Co-branded help desks will be set up at airports, railway stations, and bus stations for tourist assistance.
