CJP Insists on Shivaji Park for Mumbai Chalo Protest
The CJP says it will start a protest in Mumbai tomorrow, October 2.
The group wants to hold it at Shivaji Park.
Authorities or organizers had discussed Azaad Maidan, but the CJP says it is staying with Shivaji Park.
The protesters want Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign.
They also want criminal charges against him.
Another demand is to stop the SIR process for now.
They want elections to use the 2025 voter lists.
They also want an independent group to choose a new Chief Election Commissioner, and say the protest will continue until Kumar leaves office.
