Gujarat ATS Arrests Man in Terror Conspiracy Case

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested a man named Faizan Shaikh.

He was living in Gujarat but originally from Uttar Pradesh.

The ATS says he was influenced by bad ideas from terror groups like Al Qaeda and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

He got a gun and bullets illegally to hurt some people and cause fear.

He was also planning to attack the Red Fort in Delhi.

This is not the first time the ATS has caught people planning terror attacks.

Last November, they arrested three people, including a doctor, who were planning a big attack using poison and weapons.

The poison they were making is called ricin, which is very dangerous.

The ATS found out about Shaikh's plans through his messages on social media and other online platforms.
