Telangana Government Announces Two DA Hikes, November Payment
The Telangana government has approved two increases in allowances for state workers and pensioners.
Workers receive Dearness Allowance, while pensioners receive Dearness Relief.
The new payment is scheduled for November 1, along with October 2026 salaries.
Some of the increases apply from January 2024, and others apply from July 2024.
The government will pay older unpaid amounts in monthly instalments.
One set of arrears will be paid in 33 instalments, and another in 27.
Employee DA arrears will go into their General Provident Fund accounts.
The orders also give different rates for people on different pay scales.
