Shriram Finance Cuts Fixed Deposit Rates Across Tenures
Shriram Finance, a finance company, has lowered the interest rates on its fixed deposit (FD) plans.
This means if you put money in an FD, you'll earn a bit less interest than before.
The changes, which began on August 5, affect how much money you get back based on how long you keep your money in the FD.
However, they still offer extra benefits for senior citizens and women.
Shriram Finance revised fixed deposit (FD) and Fixed Investment Plan (FIP) interest rates.
New rates, effective from August 5, show a downward revision across most maturities.
Interest rates for tenures between 12-23 months decreased to 7.00% from 7.35%.
Rates for 36-60 month tenures decreased to 7.60% from 8.00%.
Senior citizens and women depositors continue to receive additional interest benefits.
