Dethroned Miss North Carolina USA Winner Files Defamation Lawsuit
Brittany Boltinhouse was Miss North Carolina USA for about five weeks.
The pageant then took away her title on August 5.
She has now filed a lawsuit against people and companies connected to the pageant.
She says they made her look racist, homophobic, transphobic and intolerant.
The lawsuit discusses old social media posts from 2017 and 2019.
Those posts included a racial slur and support for Donald Trump and Charlie Kirk.
