VH urges Bhatti to revive YSR’s fee reimbursement scheme

Government Advisor V Hanumantha Rao (VH) has urged Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka to revive the fee reimbursement scheme introduced by former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

VH believes the scheme is crucial for the welfare of students from economically weaker sections.

He mentioned that the scheme was successfully implemented under Rajasekhar Reddy's leadership but has not been effectively implemented in subsequent years, causing hardship to students.

VH appealed to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for the immediate implementation of the scheme and warned that students would continue to face difficulties if fee reimbursement was not provided.

He also recalled the role of students in the Telangana movement and expressed support for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's proposal to introduce legislation in the State Assembly to enable a 21-year-old youth to become the Union Education Minister.
