England Overhauls School Curriculum to Include Fake News and AI
Schools in England are getting a big update to what kids learn!
Starting soon, children will learn how to spot fake news, which is like being a detective for information online.
They will also learn about smart computers called AI.
Besides this, they will learn about money, like how mortgages and debt work, and get better at reading.
There will also be new classes on citizenship, climate change, a new language, and more sports.
A suggestion has also been made to have fewer exams for teenagers.
These changes are meant to help students be ready for jobs and life in the future.
Children in England will learn to identify fake news and artificial intelligence as part of a curriculum shake-up.
The changes aim to equip students with future skills and address online misinformation.
Primary school students will be taught critical thinking to challenge what they see online.
The curriculum will also include financial literacy basics like mortgages and debt, and strengthen reading skills.
A recommendation suggests reducing the overall volume of exams for teenagers by 10 percent.
