New Expressway Spur: Delhi to Jaipur in Just Over 3 Hours?
Imagine a new, faster road is being built to help people drive from Delhi to Jaipur!
Right now, the drive takes about 4 hours.
But, a new road is almost done, and it's designed to let cars go faster and be safer.
It's like a shortcut that goes from a big highway to Jaipur.
This new road will help people get to Jaipur quicker, maybe in about 3 hours.
The road cost a lot of money to build and it has four lanes, so it's like a superhighway.
The government is also working on another road to help get to Agra even faster.
A new 67-km spur road connecting Bandikui to Jaipur via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is set to open.
The four-lane, access-controlled road is expected to open for traffic trials by mid-July.
The project cost is Rs 1,368 crore.
The new road is expected to reduce the Delhi to Jaipur travel time to about 3 to 3.25 hours.
NHAI is planning a greenfield expressway to directly connect Jaipur with the Delhi-Agra route.
