McIntosh Claims Gold, Misses Record at World Championships
Summer McIntosh, a swimmer from Canada, has won three gold medals at the World Aquatics Championships.
She swam very fast in the 200m butterfly, but missed the world record by a little bit.
A young swimmer, 12-year-old Yu Zidi, also did well, finishing fourth.
McIntosh is trying to win even more gold medals to match a record by Michael Phelps.
She will also compete against Katie Ledecky in the 800m freestyle.
Summer McIntosh won her third gold at the World Aquatics Championships in the 200m butterfly.
McIntosh's time of 2:01.99 was the second-fastest in history, narrowly missing the world record.
Yu Zidi, 12, finished fourth, just outside of the medals in the 200m butterfly.
McIntosh aims to match Michael Phelps' record of five individual titles at a single world championship.
