Alaska Airlines Pilot Sues Boeing Over Blowout Incident

A pilot named Captain Brandon Fisher is suing Boeing because he thinks the company unfairly blamed him for a scary incident on a plane.

In January 2024, a part of the plane called a door plug panel flew off right after takeoff.

Captain Fisher and his team did a great job landing the plane safely, and everyone on board was okay.

But Boeing said in some legal papers that the pilot and crew might be responsible.

This made Captain Fisher upset because he felt Boeing was betraying him.

The investigation found that the part was not fixed properly when the plane was being made.

Boeing has been trying to improve safety, but the pilot still wants to hold them accountable.
