Hyderabad Police Bust ATM Fraud Gang
Police in Hyderabad caught a group of four people who were tricking elderly and not-so-educated individuals at ATMs.
The gang would offer to help people check their bank balance or withdraw money, but instead, they would secretly swap the person's ATM card with a fake one and steal money.
The police found out about this gang after an electrician named Venkatesh reported that ₹40,000 was stolen from his mother's account.
The police arrested the four men and found a lot of ATM cards, cash, and other items used in their crimes.
They reminded everyone not to give their ATM cards or PIN to strangers.
