Modi Pitches BRICS Startup Fund, Supply Chains and AI Agriculture

He proposed a fund and an incubator network to help startups create useful new ideas.

Another plan would make supply chains stronger when pandemics, disasters or other crises cause disruptions.

A digital agriculture network would use artificial intelligence and other tools to help farmers.

BRICS countries agreed to create an early-warning system for infectious diseases and guidelines for sharing disaster information.

Modi also mentioned projects for small businesses, clean energy, city transport and climate-friendly farming.

He said entrepreneurs, farmers, researchers, women, young people and ordinary citizens should participate.

He urged BRICS to make its solutions useful for other developing countries too.
