NSE to Shrink F&O Stock List
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is changing which stocks can be traded in a special type of trading called futures and options (F&O).
They're removing eight stocks, like Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, but adding four new ones, such as 360 One Wam.
These changes begin on August 29.
Being in the F&O segment is a good thing for a company because it can lead to being included in other important lists.
NSE is set to remove eight stocks from the futures and options (F&O) segment.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Adani Total Gas, CESC, Granules India, IRB Infrastructure Developers, Jindal Stainless, Poonawalla Fincorp, and SJVN will be excluded.
Four new stocks, including 360 One Wam, Amber Enterprises India, Kfin Technologies, and PG Electroplast, will be added.
The changes will be effective from August 29.
Inclusion in the F&O segment is considered positive for a company, opening doors for index inclusion.
