Orissa HC Issues Notice on Strike by Administrative Officers
The Orissa High Court has issued a notice to the state's Chief Secretary regarding a strike by administrative officers that took place in June 2023.
The strike was in protest of an assault on a senior official and to demand the arrest of a local BJP leader.
The court's action comes after a public interest litigation was filed by a social activist, Pratap Chandra Sahoo.
