51 Bhopal Hospitals Risk Losing Ayushman Empanelment Without Full Accreditation

Some private hospitals in Bhopal may lose their place in a government health programme.

They need full accreditation from NABH to keep that place.

The hospitals had been given extra time to get it.

A final notice was issued in March 2026.

MP-ABN CEO Dr Arvind Shah said the hospitals had not applied to renew their accreditation.

The report says 51 Bhopal hospitals are affected.

It also gives lower counts for Indore and Jabalpur, but a higher count of 33 for Gwalior.

Hospitals whose entry-level accreditation has expired must apply for full accreditation.
