Shiv Sena-UBT accuses Maharashtra government of marginalizing Marathi people
The Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) group, which is the opposition in Maharashtra, has accused the state government of treating Marathi people unfairly.
They say that Marathi people are being denied homes in Mumbai, and the government is making promises to help people in Mumbai but not actually helping the original residents of the city.
The opposition also claims that the government is making these promises to win votes in the upcoming elections.
They also say that the government is spending a lot of money on projects in Pune, even though the state has a lot of debt.
The opposition warns that the government might be trying to take Mumbai away from the Marathi people.
The government, on the other hand, has announced initiatives to provide housing relief, including 'Pagdi' buildings for home seekers, and plans to implement these initiatives with the help of various government bodies.
