The Yamuna River in Delhi is getting higher and higher, and it might become dangerous tonight.
The water level is already pretty high, and it's expected to keep going up.
This is because water is being released from dams upstream.
The river has been above a certain level for several days already.
Yamuna River water level in Delhi is rising and expected to exceed the danger mark.
The water level was at 205.24 meters at the Old Railway Bridge monitoring station Monday noon.
Authorities anticipate the water level will reach 205.7 meters by 8 pm.
The river has been above the warning level for the last three days.
Rising water levels are attributed to water released from upstream barrages.
