Jharkhand: Newborns Receive Aadhaar and Birth Certificates on Same Day
Imagine when a baby is born, it's like getting their first official papers.
In a special train hospital in a place called Jharkhand, they are now giving out two important papers on the very same day the baby is born.
These papers are their birth certificate, which says they were born, and their Aadhaar card, which is like a special ID number.
This makes it much faster and easier for parents to get these important documents for their new baby.
Newborns at a railway hospital in Jharkhand are now issued Aadhaar and birth certificates on the same day.
This is the first time this has happened at any railway hospital under the South Eastern Railway (SER).
The initiative was made possible through the coordinated efforts of railway officials, district administration, and postal/Aadhaar departments.
Officials from these departments will regularly visit the hospital to facilitate the process.
This new system aims to expedite the issuance of birth certificates and Aadhaar enrollment for newborns.
