Costa Flaunts OCI Card at India-EU Summit
Antonio Costa, the President of the European Council, showed his Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card during a meeting in New Delhi.
He is very proud of his family roots in Goa, India, where his father was born.
He talked about how special it is for him to have this connection between Europe and India.
At the same time, India and the European Union finished a big trade deal called a Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
This deal is very important because it will help both sides trade more easily and work together on many important things.
The deal is expected to start next year and will benefit both India and the EU.

Costa's father was born and raised in Goa, a former Portuguese colony, before moving to Portugal at 18.
India and the European Union concluded negotiations on a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA) during the 16th India-EU Summit.
The FTA is expected to come into effect in January 2025 and will significantly enhance bilateral trade and investment.
The agreement focuses on trade, defense, security, climate change, critical technologies, and strengthening the rules-based global order.
