High Court Orders CB-CID Report on Palani Land Scam
A court in Madurai asked the CB-CID, a state crime‑fighting agency, to give a full report on its investigation into a land scam that might involve 100 crore rupees.
The case was brought by a former MLA, a town council chair, and a temple trustee.
They want the Central Bureau of Investigation to take over because they think the CB-CID isn’t doing enough.
