Tripura Leads Northeast in PM-KUSUM Scheme Implementation
Tripura is doing a great job with a special government plan called PM-KUSUM.
This plan helps farmers use solar power for their farms.
They are giving farmers solar-powered water pumps to use instead of ones that run on diesel.
This helps save money, reduces pollution, and helps farmers make more money.
Because Tripura is doing so well with this plan, they got the number one spot in the whole Northeast region!
The Chief Minister said this shows they are committed to clean energy and helping people.
The Power Minister even received an award for this achievement.
Tripura has been recognized as the top state in the Northeast for implementing the PM-KUSUM scheme.
The PM-KUSUM scheme aims to promote solar energy use in agriculture by providing subsidized solar pumps to farmers.
This initiative helps farmers replace diesel-run pumps, reducing irrigation costs, pollution, and increasing income.
Tripura's Power Minister, Ratan Lal Nath, received an award from Union Minister Pralhad Joshi for this achievement.
