State Launches Farm Machinery Inventory Survey for Farmers
The government is starting a survey to find out what farm equipment farmers have.
Agricultural assistants will visit farms to collect information on the equipment, like who owns it and how it's used.
This information will be put into a computer system to help plan how to get the right equipment to the right places.
The goal is to make sure farmers have the tools they need to grow crops efficiently, especially smaller farmers.
The survey will help the government understand what equipment is available, identify what's missing, and decide how to best spend money to help farmers.
State-level farm machinery inventory survey is launching across the state.
The survey aims to assess machinery availability and identify gaps at the village level.
Data on machinery ownership, usage, model, and condition will be collected.
The collected data will be integrated into the Farm Management Information System (FMIS).
The survey's goal is to enhance planning, monitoring, and budget allocation for farm mechanization.
