ICC Confirms War Crimes Charges Against Uganda's Joseph Kony
Imagine a very bad person named Joseph Kony who was a leader of a group in Uganda.
The International Criminal Court, which is like a world court that handles very serious crimes, has decided that there is enough evidence to say he might have done terrible things.
These include hurting people, forcing people to become soldiers when they were children, and making people do things against their will.
The court confirmed these charges even though Kony wasn't there in person for the decision.
This means the court believes there's a strong case against him for these awful acts that happened a long time ago.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) confirmed war crimes charges against Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony.
Charges were confirmed in absentia, meaning Kony was not present for the ruling.
Kony faces 39 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Allegations include murder, rape, using child soldiers, sexual slavery, and forced pregnancy.
