NIA Arrests Suspect in 2024 Manipur IRB Post Attack
The NIA arrested Thangminlar Mate in Assam.
He is linked to an attack on an Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) post in Manipur on January 17, 2024.
During the attack, one police personnel was killed and two others injured.
The arrest happened on Sunday.
Mr. Mate is the first person arrested in this case.
He will be taken to a special court in Guwahati.
