Messi's Kerala Match Postponed, Individual India Tour Still On
Fans in Kerala will not see Lionel Messi play in a friendly match this November.
The match against Australia was postponed because FIFA, the international soccer organization, delayed giving its permission.
The event organizers said they are working on rescheduling the match for another time.
Messi will still visit India on an individual tour covering Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.
Lionel Messi's friendly match in Kerala has been postponed.
The match was scheduled for November 17 at Kochi's Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium.
The Argentina Football Association inspected the venue in September.
The postponement is due to a delay in receiving FIFA permission.
Messi will visit India for an individual tour in December.
