Madhya Pradesh Faces Severe Cold Wave

Madhya Pradesh Faces Severe Cold Wave

Madhya Pradesh and Nashik are experiencing a very cold winter.

The city of Indore is even colder than the hill station Pachmarhi, with temperatures dropping to 4.5°C, the lowest in 10 years.

Other major cities like Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, and Jabalpur are also very cold.

Nashik has seen a drop of 4.3°C in the last three days, with the lowest temperature this season recorded at 5.9°C in Niphad.

The weather experts say that a strong wind called a jet stream is blowing very fast and making it colder.

They also say that a weather pattern called La Niña is making the Pacific Ocean cooler, which is pushing cold winds towards India.

This cold weather is expected to continue for a long time.

Meanwhile, Mumbai is not under any cold wave alert, but it is experiencing pleasant temperatures that will last only for a day or two.

After that, temperatures will rise gradually, before another likely cool spell returns towards late December or early January.
