Water Supply Disruption in Hyderabad for Repairs
The water supply in many parts of Hyderabad will be stopped for 36 hours starting from 6 am on Saturday, December 27, until 6 pm on Sunday, December 28.
This is because the water board needs to fix some important pipes and equipment.
The areas that will be affected include places like Miralam, Falaknuma, Narayanguda, and many others.
The water board says they will fix a leak in a big pipe, replace some broken parts in other pipes, and do some work on the pumping stations.
Once the repairs are done, the water supply will be back to normal.
Water supply will be disrupted for 36 hours from 6 am on December 27 to 6 pm on December 28.
Areas affected include Miralam, Kishanbagh, Falaknuma, Narayanguda, and several others.
Repairs include fixing a 700-mm diameter pipeline leak and replacing damaged equipment on a 2,200-mm diameter pumping main.
Additional work involves a 600-mm diameter junction work and replacing damaged equipment on 600-mm diameter pipelines at two pumping stations.
Water supply will be restored after the completion of the repairs.
