Modi highlights faster railway expansion, new projects and freight corridor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about how India’s railway system has grown since 2014.

He said trains, coaches and freight wagons are now being added more quickly.

He compared this with what he described as slower railway progress under earlier governments.

A new train service between Vadodara and Tanda Road was launched.

A railway line connecting Jobat and Tanda Road was also dedicated to the country.

The Western Dedicated Freight Corridor was completed and made fully operational.

Several other railway projects received foundation stones.

Modi said better roads, railways and ports can help create jobs and attract new businesses.
