India Delegation Explores Defence Cooperation with Israeli Firms
Imagine two friends, India and Israel, who are really good at building and designing defense equipment.
India sent a special team, led by their top defense planner, to visit Israel's best defense factories.
They talked about working together to build new defense things, not just buying them.
This way, India can make more of its own defense equipment, which is a goal called 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.
They also signed a special agreement to help each other more in areas like computers, security, and new technology.
This is to make sure both countries stay safe and strong together.
An Indian delegation, led by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, visited major Israeli defense companies.
The visit aimed to explore co-production and co-development opportunities to enhance defense cooperation and the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to expand cooperation in strategic dialogue, joint training, and advanced technologies like AI and Cyber Security.
The delegation met with Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz to discuss strengthening defense ties.
Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to counterterrorism and addressing shared security challenges through enhanced collaboration.
