Soren accuses BJP of using job aspirants as political tool

Soren accuses BJP of using job aspirants as political tool

Many young people in Jharkhand, a state in India, were upset about tests that help people get government jobs.

They thought the tests were not fair, and they wanted the people in charge to fix the system.

They started protesting on July 25.

One day, a big group of them marched to the state Assembly building.

The police used water cannons and tear gas to stop them, and some people got hurt.

The Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, said the government would cancel one of the exams and look into what went wrong.

He also said the opposite political party, the BJP, was using the students for its own benefit.

The BJP said the students were being treated like criminals.

People from both parties shouted at each other in the Assembly, so the Speaker ended the session one day early.

The students hope their protest leads to fair and honest tests in the future.
