Drop in International Students Could Cost US Economy

Imagine many students from other countries coming to America to study.

Right now, a lot fewer are expected to come next school year.

This is because it's getting harder for them to get visas – permission to be in the US.

If fewer international students come, the US economy could lose billions of dollars.

These students spend money on things like housing and food, creating jobs for Americans.

The government is making it more difficult for foreign students to stay, some students are even getting arrested.

This might be a problem because international students bring different ideas and perspectives, and also help the US economy.
