Rohit Sharma Pitched as Future MI Coach, Kohli Not Ready
Cricket is a popular sport, and there is a big league called the IPL where teams like Mumbai Indians play.
Two famous players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, may soon stop playing.
A former player named Ravichandran Ashwin talked about this on his YouTube channel.
He thinks Rohit Sharma would make a great coach for Mumbai Indians.
Ashwin says Mumbai Indians should give Rohit a job as soon as he stops playing.
Rohit has won many trophies, so he knows a lot about cricket.
Ashwin thinks Virat Kohli might want to rest first before becoming a coach.
Kohli has said he wants to take a break from cricket when his career ends.
Ashwin also thinks more teams will hire special coaches, like mentors who help players get better.
Ravichandran Ashwin suggested Mumbai Indians should 'absorb' Rohit Sharma in a coaching capacity once he retires.
Ashwin said Virat Kohli won't be ready to become a coach immediately and would probably want to take a break.
Rohit Sharma, 39, has already retired from T20Is and Tests, and a farewell to the T20 format can't be ruled out.
Ashwin described Rohit as a tactical genius who won five IPL titles with Mumbai Indians and led India to a World Cup.
Ashwin predicted franchise cricket will dominate, with specialist roles like mentor, director of cricket, and high-performance director becoming more prevalent.
