Vijayawada Prepares for National SARAS Aajeevika Mela This October
Vijayawada is getting ready for a large fair called the SARAS Aajeevika Mela.
It will take place at Punnami Ghat from October 13 to 31.
The fair is expected to have as many as 600 stalls.
Women in self-help groups from across the country will bring products to show and sell.
Visitors can see handicrafts, handloom goods and items connected to different States’ traditions.
The district administration says the fair can help artisans reach more customers.
