CBSE Sets Deadline for Schools on Ratios, Fees, Results
The CBSE, which is like the boss of many schools in India, has told schools they need to follow some rules.
They need to have enough teachers for every student, with a maximum of 30 students for every teacher.
Each class must have at least 1.5 teachers, not counting the principal, PE teacher, or counsellor.
Schools also need to give the CBSE information about how many students they have, how many pass their exams, and notes about each year.
This is to make sure schools are doing a good job and being fair to students.
CBSE has issued a circular requiring schools to provide comprehensive data including student counts and pass percentages.
Schools must maintain a pupil-teacher ratio of no more than 30:1.
Each section must have at least 1.5 teachers, excluding the principal, PE teacher, and counsellor.
The circular emphasizes the need for adequate academic staffing to ensure quality education.
Schools are required to submit year-wise remarks along with the other data.
