Tollywood Biggies Zero In on Sankranthi With Tentative Releases
Sankranthi is a big festival in India that brings families together, and for Telugu movies it is one of the most important times of the year.
Many filmmakers want to release their movies during this season because a lot of people go to the cinema.
This year's Sankranthi already had big hits, including a Chiranjeevi movie that broke records.
Now, several new movies are being planned for the next Sankranthi.
Chiranjeevi's Mega 158 is set to release on January 10.
Sai Dharam Tej's Sambarala Yeti Gattu is planned for January 12.
On January 13, a movie teaming up Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram is expected.
Sharwanand's George Krish and Nagarjuna's 100th movie, King 100, are both aiming for January 14.
More movies, like one with Balakrishna, might join the list.
But movie dates can change, so we have to wait a few months to know for sure which films will actually come out.
Five Tollywood films have tentative release dates for next Sankranthi, scheduled between January 10 and 14.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's Mega 158, directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by KVN Productions, is set for January 10.
Sai Dharam Tej's Sambarala Yeti Gattu releases January 12, and the Venkatesh-Kalyan Ram multi-starrer directed by Anil Ravipudi is set for January 13.
Sharwanand's George Krish and Nagarjuna's 100th film King 100, co-starring Tabu, both target a January 14 release.
Film circles expect additional movies, including one with Balakrishna, but dates frequently get postponed, so the final Sankranthi lineup is uncertain.
